mystery of tequila wolf

Tequila Wolf is a bridge that has been under construction for the past 700 years, in a clearly cold/snowy environment. It is introduced here.

Check out the middle panel on this page.

Moriah: “It’s said there was a country where arrested criminals from each nation were assembled as one country of brigands.” On that same page, Moriah also confirms that Oars died 500 years ago, frozen, meaning the timing is possible. It’s a definite stretch, but interesting nonetheless.

First Pass (11/29/2011): So what does this mean? As far as we know, Oars is done. Oars Jr. however, made far too brief a cameo during the war (albeit a very important one). I think he comes back later when we revisit Tequila Wolf. Not enough has been said about a place the Revolutionaries were so interested in, and a bridge that the World Government has been trying to build for the last 700 years.

But of course, this is entirely open to interpretation: Oars may have been the leader of a country and not a collection of slaves. The “was” is especially troubling, as we know Tequila Wolf, at the time, was very much still running. I just want to leave this open cause I’m hesitant to dismiss it so quickly.

I’ll add more to this later. I remember seeing some other things about this that may relate, I just have to do a bit of searching. Either way, definitely still up for debate.

  1. could this mysterious bridge building be an attempt for the world government to obtain a secret hidden weapon?

    • totally possible. you have to imagine that the world government has a _very good_ reason for building that bridge! i think that it was disclosed somewhere that the bridge was supposed to connect two islands; i’ll do some research as to which ones again soon 🙂

  2. Tequila Wolf is connected to the All Bridge Project of the WG (http://mangahelpers.com/forum/showthread.php/2989520-The-Inherited-Will-One-Piece?p=3311398&viewfull=1#post3311398) opposed to All Blue project which is about destroying the Red Line’s entrance (http://mangahelpers.com/forum/showthread.php/2989520-The-Inherited-Will-One-Piece?p=3302682&viewfull=1#post3302682). Two different visions of world travelling (free and unlimited roads vs. controlled and limited roads)
